What the flight cache says about each month

Our data comes from the Aviasales search cache, so treat every figure as "found from" on the date shown, not a live fare. Across the eight origin cities we tracked, the lowest sampled prices land outside high summer. From Istanbul, a December search returned fares from $31 for a 70-minute direct hop — the shortest and cheapest route in the set. Düsseldorf showed September direct fares from $55 on a four-hour flight.

The Central Asian and Caucasus origins sit higher. Almaty came in from $123 for a January direct flight of just over six hours, Astana from $130 in October, and Bishkek from $112 for a December direct. Baku's cheapest sample, from $122, was a one-stop routing in October running about seven hours. Moscow showed an August direct from $64, though its typical price rose to around $155, which tells you how wide the spread gets in peak season.

The pattern to take from this: if your origin has a direct route, the month matters less to flight time and more to price, and the softer prices show up in fall and winter searches. All figures were pulled on August 7, 2026.

Does the airport transfer change by season?

No. Kemer sits 39 miles (39 km) from Antalya Airport (AYT), which our routing puts at about 50 minutes by road. That is one transfer each way, so for a short stay it is a real slice of your first and last day. The drive does not shorten in winter, and summer weekend traffic on the coastal road can push it longer.

Factor this in when you compare Kemer against closer bases. Belek is 53 km out and Antalya's own districts, Muratpaşa and Konyaaltı, sit 35 km and 31 km away respectively. If a 50-minute transfer twice over eats into a three-night trip more than you want, a base nearer the airport may serve you better than chasing a slightly cheaper Kemer fare.

Peak summer versus the shoulder months

August is the busy end of the season, and the flight cache reflects it: typical prices from several origins run well above their lowest sampled fare, a sign of demand rather than a single cheap seat. Moscow's typical August price, around $155 against a $64 low, is the clearest example.

The fall and winter searches — September from Düsseldorf, October from Astana and Baku, December from Istanbul and Bishkek, January from Almaty and Shymkent — return the softer numbers in our set. That points to shoulder and off-season travel as the value play if your dates are flexible. What we cannot tell you from this brief is the sea temperature or daytime highs in those months, so confirm the climate for your travel window separately before you commit.

Which origin cities have direct flights

Direct service matters more than a small price gap when you are traveling with kids or on a tight schedule. In our sample, Istanbul (70 minutes), Düsseldorf (240 minutes), Almaty, Astana, Bishkek, Shymkent, and Moscow all showed direct options to Antalya. Baku's cheapest sampled routing was one-stop, at around seven hours total.

Istanbul is the standout for both speed and price, which makes a domestic connection through IST worth pricing if you are coming from farther afield. The carriers in our data included Pegasus (PC) on several direct routes, Wizz Air (W6) on the Baku connection, and Turkish Airlines (TK) from Astana.

How to decide your dates

Start with your origin. If you fly from Istanbul, the month barely affects a 70-minute flight, so pick your dates on weather and crowds rather than fare. If you fly from Central Asia, the direct routes cluster in fall and winter at the lower end of our range, so flexible dates there save the most.

Then hold the transfer in mind: 50 minutes each way from AYT is fixed whatever month you choose. For a short break, that argues for booking the outbound and return flights at times that don't waste a half-day on the road. Because this page draws only on cached fares and geography, treat sea and air temperature as the missing piece and check a climate source for your exact window.
